Win £250 Worth of Equipment for Your Act!
Entries to GO MaD, THE Music and Dance Competition, are open to students from participating schools who will be in years 8, 9 and 10 during the next autumn term (in years 7, 8 and 9 at time of registration). The competition has two categories, as the name suggests, music and dance.
In both categories you need to:
- Put together an act; be it soloist, duet, group.
- Complete the online competition application form. The closing date for entries is 20th July 2010.
- Once you've entered, be patient and practice, practice, practice!
- After the closing date we will contact you with details of the auditions, which will take place in September.
- If you make it through the auditions you'll enter the heats where you'll perform in front of a friendly audience and the panel of judges.
- Make it through the heats without being knocked out and you'll be in the semi-finals.
- Make a great impression in the semi-finals and you'll be in the final with a chance of winning £250 for your act!
